My waste or recycle bin is missing?
“If a resident or property owner notices that their waste or recycling bin is missing, they are encouraged to first check the surrounding neighborhood and with nearby neighbors. If the bin cannot be located, the resident or property owner must file a police report—either in person or by phone—with the Plainville Police Department.
After obtaining a police report number, the resident or property owner may visit the Building and Public Works Department, located on the first floor of the Municipal Building in Room 100, or contact the Public Works Administration by phone to request a replacement bin. If the original bin is later found, please contact the Public Works Office to arrange pickup of the extra bin provided.
Please note: A police report number is required in order to receive a replacement bin for a missing container.”
