My waste or recycle bin is missing?

In the event a resident/ property owner should notice their waste or recycle bin missing, it is recommended that the resident or property owner check their local neighborhood and neighbors. If still not found, the resident or property owner must file a police report (in person or over the phone) with the Plainville Police Department. After that with the police report number, the resident or property owner will either want to stop by the Building and Public Works Department located on the 1st floor in the municipality building in room 100, or they can call the Public Works Administration to receive a new bin. If the original bin(s) is found we ask that you call the Public Works Office and request a pick-up for the extra one received.

*Residents and property owners must have a police report number to receive a new bin, if bin is missing.*
