Youth Services

Mission Statement
 

The mission of the Youth Services department is to coordinate programs and services for Plainville youth that promote positive youth development and prevent delinquency and other negative behaviors. This mission is accomplished by providing and coordinating a continuum of services that include prevention, intervention and treatment programs. Services are provided in the Youth Services office on Whiting Street, and in the schools. Call Roberta Brown, Director, for more information or to make an appointment.

Youth Services staff members are active on many school and community committees, boards and task forces to continually assess the needs of the community, and coordinate, plan and develop programs to meet those needs. Plainville Youth Services is also a member of several statewide committees and organizations.
