Transfer Station Open on Monday, July 6th to Saturday, July 10th for Storm Cleanup

The Transfer Station on Granger Lane will be open this week to help residents with storm‑related cleanup. Tree branches and brush may be dropped off during the following hours:

  • Monday, July 6: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday, July 7 – Friday, July 10: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, July 11: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (regular hours)

These extended hours apply only to tree branches and brush. Disposal fees for these items will be waived. Plainville residents must present valid identification or other proof of residency.

If you should have any questions, please call Public Works Administration at (860)793-0221 ext. 7176. Monday through Wednesday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
