Transfer Station Opening Date 2024 - 4/6/24

The Transfer Station on Granger Lane will open for the season on Saturday, April 6, 2024. The hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Saturdays only. Plainville residents must have identification or proof of Plainville residency. Plainville does not offer transfer station permits or passes. There is a disposable free, however there is no fee for accepted electronic waste.
If you should have any questions, please call the Public Works Department at (860)793-0221 ext. 7176. Monday through Wednesday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Residents can also refer to the Town of Plainville website in the Public Works section under Transfer Station Ordinance for further information.
