Every Vote Counts- Plainville Ensures a Safe Election

The Plainville Town Council is encouraging members of the community to vote this election. All polling locations will be open and safe November 3, 2020 from 6:00AM to 8:00PM. Polling locations have been prepared and are following State and local health and safety guidelines including implementing a Safe Polling Plan as required by State Election guidelines. All polling locations will have social distancing markers, hand sanitizers at each entrance, one-way traffic in and out of polling locations and poll workers wearing protective masks and equipment. Privacy booths will be thoroughly cleaned after each use and disposable pencils will be provided to all voters.
All voters are asked to wear a mask when entering polling locations as outlined in State health and safety guidance. Masks will be available on request. Curbside assistance will also be available on request.
Voters are reminded polling districts will be open between the hours of 6:00am – 8:00pm. Polling locations are as follows:
District 1 - Linden Street School 69 Linden Street
District 2 - OLM Parish Center 19 South Canal Street
District 3 - Toffolon School 145 North West Drive
District 4 - Wheeler School 15 Cleveland Memorial Drive
To increase the health and safety of all voters, and minimize wait times voters are asked to:
- Please have your ID ready before entering the polling locations
- At risk voters are encouraged to vote between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00 pm when election traffic is typically lighter.
