BID TABULATION SUMMARY

Sealed Bids for the construction of the “Town of Plainville, Shuttle Meadow Pump Station Rehabilitation – Project Number 2024-05” will be received by the Town Manager at Town Hall, Town Manager’s Office, Plainville, CT until 1:00 p.m. local time on December 6, 2023 (as amended by Addendum No. 2) at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “Town of Plainville, Shuttle Meadow Pump Station Rehabilitation – Project Number 2024-05.”

The major work consists of replacement of the existing pumps and motors with submersible style pumps, mixers, instrumentation, equipment, piping, valves within a new precast wet well and valve vault. It also includes replacement of the existing control and generator building with a new preengineered and fabricated electrical building and all new electrical, pump controls, instrumentation, generator, and new VFDs. There are modifications to the existing wet well and targeted demolition of existing components and site work. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
