Child Car Seat Inspection

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration almost HALF of all child car seats and booster seats are installed incorrectly.  Is yours one of them?

The Plainville Police Department Offers child car seat inspections FREE of charge.  The Department has three officers that have been trained and certified by NHTSA and Connecticut Safe Kids as child safety seat technicians.  This service includes inspection of the current car and booster seats, a check for any product recalls, demonstrating how to properly install the child seat and booster seat, and providing information on keeping kids safe within their seats.  In limited and emergency situations, the Department may be able to offer a free car seat to the parent or guardian depending on current inventory.  If you would like to set up an appointment to have your car seat(s) inspected, please complete the form below and submit it.  A Car Seat Technician will contact you.
