Butterfly Evolution Event

A multi-week event to see how Thistle Caterpillars transform into Painted Lady Butterflies over the course of just a few weeks!

Visit the library now through mid-May to watch the evolution of Thistle Caterpillars evolve into Painted Lady Butterflies.

 

The caterpillars/butterflies are on display in the Youth Services department. Visitors can stop in and observe them throughout their morphing process. Scroll down to see more updates. 

Viewing Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 

Attendees can help celebrate the release of the butterflies into the wild!

Butterfly Release Party. All ages with caregiver. Teens and Adults welcome. Monday, May 15th at 11 AM.

 

 

The caterpillars have arrived! Stop in to see their progress.
