     Teen Book Boxes. Grades 6-12. Sign up all month long. Registration can be found on the 1st of every month.

Teen Book Box


Fill out the online form to get your personalized book pick(s) along with some goodies.
 

Each month you will receive: 
 

  • A handpicked YA title on a theme or tailored to your preferences
  • An assortment of items that may include: a sticker, a bookmark, and/or a mystery gift or gifts.

We will fulfill holds starting around the last full week of each month.



 

The registration form can be found on the 1st of each month through our online calendar. Registration can be done anytime throughout the entire month.

Wednesdays from 1:30 - 3:30 PM
April 24th, and May 22nd

Grades 6-8

 

Attendees are welcome to play board, card, and video games while snacking on pizza.

CT Hiking Trails talk by Reach the Summit member

 

Connecticut Trails
Tuesday, April 16th at 6:00 PM

All ages welcome


Mat Jobin, founder of Reach Your Summit, will discuss the trail systems in Connecticut. Reach Your Summit partners with Connecticut Forest and Park Association and CT DEEP to educate and ensure the wilderness is accessible and enjoyable for all adventurers.

Taylor Swift Friendship Bracelets

Ages 8+ with Caregiver. Teens & Adults Welcome

Taylor Swift fans may stop by the Youth Services Department to create a friendship bracelet in honor of Taylor’s newly released album.

CT State Library Mobile Van Visit

 

CT State Library’s Mobile Outreach Van Visit
Saturday, April 20th

Stop by anytime between 12:00 - 2:00 PM

All Ages Welcome

 

The Connecticut Library for Accessible Books (CT LAB), formerly the Connecticut State Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (LBPH), new Mobile Outreach Van will visit the Plainville Public Library. CT LAB lends books and magazines in audio and braille formats, for free, to any Connecticut resident who is unable to read regular print due to a visual, reading, or physical disability.

 

No registration needed. 

 

 

 

Teens are welcome to attend specified Adult programs as well.
