The Town of Plainville is hereby issuing a Request for Qualifications & Proposals (RFQ/P) for conducting Phase I, II & III Environmental Site Assessments and developing a Remedial Action Plan as well as a Hazardous Building Materials Survey. This work will be conducted on a 14.59-acre, privately-owned brownfield site located in the Town of Plainville, at 1 and 63 West Main Street (aka 7 West Main Street and Route 372). The RFQ/P provides specifications and requirements for prospective firms to prepare a response and description of services. Responses submitted after 11:00 AM on March 22, 2018 will not be considered. The work will be funded under a Brownfield Assessment Grant awarded by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD). Proposed work must meet any state requirements for work funded by a DECD Brownfields Grant.
There will be a pre-bid meeting to be held on site, on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 at 9:30 AM to allow for consultants to walk through the building and the site. Attendees will gather in room 302 of the Plainville municipal Center at 9:00 AM for a short pre-walk question and answer period.
