The Plainville Chamber of Commerce, Plainville Economic Development Agency and Plainville VFW Announces
“Eat Local – Win Local”
May 13, 2020 – Plainville, CT: The Plainville Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Plainville Economic Development Agency and Plainville VFW are pleased to announce the co-sponsorship of second round of the “Eat Local-Win Local” program made possible by a generous donation from the Plainville VFW. We are asking community members who can, to continue showing their Plainville pride by supporting locally owned Plainville restaurants by placing an order through take-out, delivery, curbside pickup, or visiting any open, outdoor dining restaurant after May 20th.
As many of these eateries have become community staples, the Chamber, Economic Development Agency, and VFW want to help make sure they are able to weather this storm and continue to feed our families for many years to come!
Between Friday, May 15th and Friday, June 5 community members that spend at least $15.00 per transaction (for a total of $30.00) at two (2) different Plainville restaurants must take a selfie of them picking up their order and tag the Plainville Chamber and restaurant on Facebook, submit pictures or scans of their receipts to the Plainville Chamber at info@plainvillechamber.com with your contact information (Name, Email, Address, and Phone Number). These two receipts will act as your entry into a drawing that will take place on Monday, June 8th, 2020 where eight (8) twenty-five ($25.00) gift cards to Plainville restaurants will be awarded to the winners.
A “Shop Local – Win Local” supporting locally-owned Plainville shops and retailers will be announced in the beginning of June.
The Plainville Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Agency, and Plainville VFW thank those members of the community that are hard at work each and every day and are keeping our community running. During this uncertain time, it is imperative that we continue to support those individuals and local businesses that create the fabric of our community.
