Farmington Canal Heritage Trail Update

A Collaborative Workshop to refine the preferred alignment for the Farmington Canal Trail through Plainville will be held on Wednesday, October 18th.  The workshop will be held at the High School Cafeteria from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

The meeting will begin with an Open House where attendees can provide feedback on specific sections of the proposed trail.  At 7:00 pm, there will be a presentation that will give an overview of the process used to narrow the alternatives into the Preferred Alignments.  After the presentation, there will be a question and answer period followed by another opportunity to provide feedback in an open house setting.

Notices for the Collaborative Workshop will be mailed to the persons that own property in close proximity to the proposed alignment and possible alternate routes being considered.
