CDC Advising Use of Cloth Face Coverings to Help Slow the Spread of COVID-19

You can take steps to protect yourself and others during the COVID-19 outbreak.  The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person. Recent studies indicate that people who are infected, but do not have symptoms, can transmit the virus to others.  The virus can spread between people interacting in close proximity—for example, speaking, coughing, or sneezing—even if those people are not exhibiting symptoms.

It is critical to emphasize that maintaining 6-feet social distancing remains important to slowing the spread of the virus.  CDC is additionally advising the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus when in public and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.  For instructions on how to wear or make a mask, please click below.
