HIGH SCHOOL POOL
The pool is available to Plainville Residents without charge, beginning
Tuesday, January 3rd. PLEASE NOTE: Periodically this schedule may change due to High School Events.
The Plainville Board of Education has instituted a policy to discontinue heating the pool water April 1, 2012. Therefore, the Plainville High School Pool will close for recreational swimming on April 29th. The estimated date to re-open the pool will be Fall 2012.
MONDAY: 6:30-7:30 p.m., Family Swim - Children must be escorted by an adult.
8:00-8:45 p.m., Adult Swim - Open to residents 28 years and older.
TUESDAY: 8:00-8:45 p.m., Adult Swim
WEDNESDAY:7:00-8:00 p.m., Family Swim - Children must be escorted by an adult.
8:00-8:45 p.m., Adult Swim
THURSDAY: 7:00-8:00 p.m., Open Swim - Unescorted youth must be 8 years old.
8:00-8:45 p.m., Adult Swim
FRIDAY: 7:00-8:30 p.m., Community Group Swim - Open to Plainville groups
and clubs. Minimum of 25 people. Must call Recreation Office
for reservations.
SATURDAY: 10:00 A.M.- 3:00 P.M., Red Cross Swim Instruction
for ages 6 months & up.
Swim instruction will begin on Saturday, March 17th and will run for a seven-lesson period.
