Records Division
To obtain police records, including accident reports and incident reports, you can visit the Plainville Police Department Records Division. The Records Division is adjacent to the police department's public lobby. There is a nominal fee for all public records. Some records may not be available until 5-7 business days after an incident occurs. Specific records, including those pertaining to ongoing police investigations, may not be released. We recommend calling the records clerk prior to coming to the police department if you are seeking older records, or any records that may require an extensive records search.
Records hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Excluding Holidays)
