Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Selected officers from the Plainville Police Department work together with officers from surrounding agencies as part of a regional Emergency Response Team. The team is designed to respond quickly to emergent police problems that are not routinely encountered during patrol procedures. Members of the team are comprised of police officers who have received specialized training regarding incidents such as; barricaded persons, hostage rescue, high risk warrant service, crowd control, and searches for wanted or missing persons.
