On October 17, 2011, Eric Peterson was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant. Lieutenant Peterson will have the administrative role of operations with the primary duty of overseeing the patrol division.

Clifford "CJ" Roper and Nicholas Mullins were promoted to the rank of sergeant on November 3, 2011, at a special meeting of the Town Council. The two ranked first and second after a rigorous promotional examination, and Chief Catania recommended them for promotion. Sgt. Roper will take command of the midnight to 8 a.m. shift while Sgt. Mullins will command the jump shift, two midnight to 8 a.m. shifts followed by two 4 p.m. to midnight shifts.
