Recycling and Solid Waste Commission:
The Plainville Recycling & Solid Waste Commission was created to advise the Town of Plainville on matters of recycling and solid waste. We also inform the public on how to recycle and proper disposal of hazardous waste.
Our Commission meets the second Thursday of the month at 7:00pm in Room 302 at the Plainville Municipal Center. We invite the public to attend and share their thoughts with us. We can be contacted at:

New Pilot Recycling Program: (Scheduled to begin October 26, 2010)
The Town of Plainville and City of Bristol have initiated a program that will provide for the cooperative collection of recyclable materials. City of Bristol Public Works Employees will begin automated collection of recyclables from over 600 Plainville residences Tuesday, October 26, and every other week thereafter. Please click on the selections below to view the letter sent to residents and the addresses of those participating in the new Pilot Recycling Program.
