Invitation to Bid - Contract #2015-18, Plainville High School Field & Track Improvements

The Town of Plainville is seeking bids for Field and Track Improvements at the Plainville High School, including resurfacing of the running track and field event runways, replacement of the natural turf Main Athletic Field with the installation of an all-weather synthetic grass sports system and replacement of the natural turf Softball/Practice Field with the installation of an all-weather synthetic grass sports system and associated site improvements.  The Proposal, Specifications and Contract Documents may be examined at Joseph Merritt & Company, 650 Franklin Avenue, Hartford, CT.  Please click on “Invitation to Bid” above for additional details.

Nutmeg TV Programming - Town Council Meetings

Nutmeg TV has changed the structure of cablecasting government meetings to allow maximum visibility.  They have expanded their programming from 6 hours to 24 hours.  Plainville Town Council meetings are aired all day Thursday.  The most recent meeting tape will begin at 12 midnight and repeat every 3 hours with the last showing at 9pm.  In addition, meetings can be viewed on Saturday at 9am and Sunday at 12am and 6pm.

Plainville Safe Routes to Schools

Reminder to Residents Regarding Trash/Recycling Containers:

Please be sure to follow the instructions on the top of the lid when placing the trash and recycling containers at the curb.  The arrows must be pointed toward the road.  Also, containers must be five (5) feet from any objects (such as sign posts, mailboxes, etc.) or other carts.  Thank you!
