Latella Rubbish Removal has informed the Town of Plainville that they have sold their business to CWPM of Plainville. The Town Council has reviewed the existing contract with Latella and have approved the assignment of this contract to CWPM.
Resident's can refer general trash or recycling questions to CWPM at 860-747-1335. To schedule bulk pickups only, property owners should call 860-793-6721. When calling for bulk pickup, property owners should follow the prompts and be prepared to leave your name, phone number, street address along with the list of items to be picked up.

Nutmeg TV Programming - Town Council Meetings
Nutmeg TV has changed the structure of cablecasting government meetings to allow maximum visibility. They have expanded their programming from 6 hours to 24 hours. Plainville Town Council meetings are aired all day Thursday. The most recent meeting tape will begin at 12 midnight and repeat every 3 hours with the last showing at 9pm. In addition, meetings can be viewed on Saturday at 9am and Sunday at 12am and 6pm.

Reminder to Residents Regarding Trash/Recycling Containers:
Please be sure to follow the instructions on the top of the lid when placing the trash and recycling containers at the curb. The arrows must be pointed toward the road. Also, containers must be five (5) feet from any objects (such as sign posts, mailboxes, etc.) or other carts. Thank you!
