The Economic Development Agency is responsible for the promotion and development of the economic resources of the Town of Plainville. In addition, the Agency makes recommendations for expenditures from the Economic Development Fund, an account established by the Town Council to help attract new businesses and to encourage the expansion of existing businesses within Plainville. The Agency sets policy and makes recommendations regarding other economic incentive programs such as tax abatements and revolving loan programs.
