| "A Plan in Progress" | The 2008 - 2009 Plainville Plan of Conservation and Development is currently being updated. The Plan was last updated in 1997, so in 2007, we began the process of overhauling the current Plan.
The Town of Plainville has retained the services of Urbitran Associates, Inc. to aid in our efforts to insure that the Plan creates a vision that is both supportive of Plainville's past and representative of prevailing public attitudes regarding future growth.
The Commission conducts all Plan discussions in public sessions and welcomes any and all input. We will be posting documents and maps as they become available for public inspection. Please check back periodically for new material. | The Conditions, Trends and Issues Report contains an overview of demographic information and conclusions based on the best available data. Issues and ideas discussed thus far are also summarized here. This document provides the bones of the new Plan. While there is much work to be done in terms of data gathering, discussions and mapping, the basis of the Plan takes shape here.
