Having received a Contiguous Municipality Enterprise Zone designation from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, the Town of Plainville is now eligible to offer a variety of investment-inducing incentives in this designated region, including business tax credits, property tax abatements and job creation grants. The area, which constitutes of about 213 acres of Restricted and General Industrial zoned property, is located in the southwest corner of town and is south of Broad Street, west of Whiting Street, north of Town Line Road and east of Redstone Hill.
