Monitor Pilot Transmissions
AM 1710
Visitors to Robertson Airport are able to listen to pilot transmissions from their car radios!
The radio transmission system has a range of 200 feet and is perfect for guests who enjoy parking at the airport, and watching planes take off and land. The one-way transmission can be heard on AM 1710, and will broadcast pilots’ voices.
The system was installed the summer of 2015 by Colin Stamm, Eagle Scout from Newington, as his eagle scout project. Stamm was inspired to start the project due to his love for aviation.
