The Town of Plainville Tax Office will remain open all day from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 to provide taxpayers with additional hours to pay their tax bills. Taxpayers are reminded that they have until Monday, August 2, 2010 to pay their taxes without interest. Payments made after August 2nd will incur interest penalties.
There are several ways payments can be made:
1. In Person - Come into the Tax Office to pay before the close of business.
2. By Mail - Envelopes must be postmarked no later than August 2 so as NOT to incur interest penalties.
3. By Credit Card – go to www.plainvillect.com for details.
4. Drop Boxes - Payments in both drop boxes must be received by 3:30pm on August 2, 2010. All payments received after 3:30pm on August 2nd will be processed the next business day and will incur interest.
